The apartment is located on the first floor and can be reached via staircase. Experience a bright and open to the roof designed apartment with a great patio. Ahrweiler is the perfect starting point for hiking or biking the Ahr valley Right outside the entrance you will find your own patio with a table and four chairs, inviting you to enjoy the sun. During summer there will be lounge chairs offered in the inner courtyard. The lounge chairs will be shared with other guests and will be used on a first come - first serve basis. You will have the option to wash and dry your laundry free of charge. I am around almost every day and will be glad to answer any question you may have or provide insider tips The Ahr valley is a unique wine and recreation area. It is part of the Eifel national park with lots of destinations like the "Nürburgring", one of the world´s most famous race tracks (45 min drive). You can hike the "Ahrsteig", a 100km hiking trail (suggested 6 stages) along the river Ahr from river head to the Ahr river mouthing into the Rhine. The city of Ahrweiler itself has a medieval character and offers a lot of attractions and plenty of opportunity to hike, bike or simply taste the regional vine. The immediate neighbourhood of the apartment is very quiet. Tips for restaurants or leisure activity will be provided upon check in. Surrounding the city there is a complete ancient city wall. The streets are narrow, yet romantic. We offer garage parking right at the premises. The central market square with its several hundred years old church is just 2 min away walking distance. The immediate neighbourhood offers great dining and cosy wine tasting restaurants. The above booking price relates to a 2 person occupancy. Each additional traveller will be charged with 20 Euro / day. Pets will be charged with a flat fee of 30 Euro for the entire stay. Each guest will be handed a personalised guest card issued by the city of Ahrweiler. There will be an EXTRA charge of 3 Euro per person / day. The card in turn offers free regional transportation via train and bus. Schedules will be provided at the time of check in. Further, the guest card provides rebates for admission at different venues throughout the city. Business travellers are not subject to paying the guest card fee. Children pay half price.
