Next to Teesdale Way path, minutes walk to Tees Barrage, activities, restaurants, nature reserve and town. Easy access to A19 /A66 and nearby beachese -Saltburn, Whitby etc. Light, open-plan living area. Couch converts to sturdy bed. Large cloakroom (basin/wc only) accessible to wheelchair users. Upstairs, ensuite master bedroom and large balcony. Garden has hot tub, 2 patios make the most of sunny aspect. Also dedicated secure office- ample sockets, couch, desk. Dogs welcome. It is an open plan house. The wide hallway has a seat and a shoe cupboard. It leads to a large understairs utility area for coats and houses the washer and dryer. The kitchen is a good size and has all appliances built in. There is seating for 8 and a dining area (with piano if you are musically inclined). The living area leads through large French doors to the back garden, where you will find the secure, purpose built office. The garden has a hot tub and 2 patio areas for that indoor/outdoor living, ideal for catching the sun throughout the day. It has fruit trees, borders and raised veg plot which provides sleepers to perch on. Also 6 reclining chairs and other seats and tables suitable for drinks and meals outside. The downstairs and garden is level access. In the living area the corner sofa converts to a sturdy double bed. The cloakroom has a wc and basin and is accessible for wheelchair users. However, there is no downstairs shower. Upstairs the bedrooms are all doubles with wardrobes and storage. The bedding provided is anti allergy. One bedroom has lofty vaulted ceilings. The 2nd bedroom overlooks the balcony and garden. The main bedroom accesses the large wraparound balcony that has the morning sun and gives a quiet private area overlooking the garden. The master also has an ensuite. The upstairs is served by a bathroom with overbath shower. It is a lovely, light modern home. It is on a small riverside estate with a play park and well lit riverside paths. The river hosts dragon boat races, rowing etc. A couple of minutes walk and you have all the activities of Tees Barrage - paddle boarding, kayaking, whitewater rafting/canoeing and a 4-level air trail. There is a lovely restaurant with huge outdoor seating area overlooking the whitewater. Also a cafe with river views. This then leads to a wetland nature reserve with lots of paths to follow. Ideal for walking dogs. The river is tidal at this point and seals are often seen swimming. In the other direction Stockton Town is about 15 - 20 minute walk. This is largely pedestrianised and there are various events throughout the year. The A19 and A66 are approx. 5 mins drive. Thornaby train station is a 20 min walk and Stockton station 30 mins walk. There is ample free parking that serve these houses. If you drive to town many car parks are free for 1st hour. I will leave details of places of interest. There are regular bus services from Stockton to all areas. This is the first time letting my home. I hope you love it as much as I do. All feedback will be gratefully received.
