The family complex is located directly on a lake, not far from the North Sea coast between Bremen, Cuxhaven and Hamburg. The Oste is not only an excellent area to canoeing and paddling, but also very popular with fishermen. It winds from the Harburg district until just before Cuxhaven, where it flows into the Elbe funnel. Due to the flow, the Oste River is not suitable for swimming. Activities in the area: Family holidays at the Geesthof mean relaxation for parents and great experiences for the children. The Geesthof offers countless possibilities to spend your vacation: relax during fishing, in the swimming or outdoor pool, bicycle or skate along the Oste and enjoy the unspoilt nature. The nearby River De Oste offers good starting conditions for canoe or kayak trips. The complex includes more than 20 horses available to guests for riding lessons. The four-legged family members are also welcome here and can enjoy the training grounds or in the dog bath.
