An award-winning farmhouse with a refurbished attic. It is spacious and beautiful, with a seaside-chic, quirky feel. It is a beloved house that has seen many wonderful memories. 6 bedroom, sleeps 12. There is a large, beautiful garden, perfect for children to run around in and lots of areas to relax in the sun. The garden is fenced and furnished, and has an amazing veranda, BBQ and dining area for group meals and evenings. The house is 2km from the sea with wonderful walks, swimming and fishing. The house is ideal for family or group holidays that are looking for relaxation and good times. The ground floor has a TV/Games room, living room, and open plan kitchen/dining room. The first floor has two landings, each that include a double bedroom, perfect for parents, and a room with two twins beds, perfect for children. Each landing happily sleeps an average sized family. The second floor has two very large, beautiful attic double bedrooms, separated by a recreation space with a sofa bed. There are 4 bathrooms, 2 of which are ensuite, one of which is the master bedroom. There is also a toilet downstairs. The house is in a secluded hamlet, which means it is very quiet and tranquil, with lots of privacy. However, it is also close to various lovely seaside towns by bike and by car. It is an incredibly beautiful area with plenty to do and plenty of local markets. Travel to Regneville for a local restaurant, bakery and walks on the picturesque marshes. Journey to Agon Coutainville for a lovely seaside experience, with gorgeous swimming, restaurants and marine activity schools. Visit Hautevile sur Mer for tennis, horse riding and sailing. Go a bit further afield to Coutances, and visit the famous Gothic cathedral for a traditional market town. We have a housekeeper and gardener who will both be available to you should you have any problems at all. We will provide info on the many beautiful walking and cycling routes in the area in a guidebook left in the house. - Due to COVID, guests will be supplied with sheets, but will be asked to make up the beds themselves, as it is much safer. -There is a cleaning charge, but the house should be left orderly and tidy. If not, deduction for extra time spent cleaning will be made from the deposit. -Cleaning charge reflects the size of the house. -No separate payment for the oil, electricity, telephone. -There is plenty of on-site parking, with internet and laundry capabilities.
