Country cottage , Four Stars with Visitbritain

Prestwick Byre is one mile from Chiddingfold, close to Guildford, Godalming and Haslemere, but still within 45 minutes of London or the South Coast. I am sure you will love it because of its quiet rural setting yet very close to all modern amenities. We are new to AirBNB but are four star rated with Visit Britain and have numerous reviews on Tripdaviser. Our motto is `Four Star Quality with Farmhouse Hospitality` This bungalow has been recently converted to a high specification to offer warm and homely accommodation for a family of up to 5 persons. The kitchen is fully equipped with most things you would find at home, including a washer drier. The open plan lounge diner arrangement creates an informal friendly atmosphere within the main living space. The double bedroom has a large walk in wardrobe and bright recently replaced bedding. Also downstairs is the second bedroom with the twin beds and walk in wardrobe.The bathroom is between the two main bedrooms and also has a large walk in shower. The single room is upstairs . A Zed bed is also available for the occasional 6th guest. The price is inclusive of all utilities and linen, so you really could arrive with just your toothbrush. The parking for two cars is beside the front door and their are no steps anywhere on the ground floor. The two downstairs bedrooms are located either side of the large WC/Bath/Shower room. Outside you will have a dedicated lawn/picnic area with gates that can be closed to keep the children safe. We usually meet guests but as the properties are near the main farmhouse we are also happy to leave the door open with keys inside. The local village of Chiddingfold is 1.5 miles away and is considered to be one of the most sought after in the South East. The village centre is idyllic with the 600 yr old Crown Inn, the Church, the Smithy and the pond all located around the green. Haslemere is only 3 miles away and will cater for all everyday needs, whilst Guildford with its major shopping outlets is 11 miles. Prestwick Farm is officially designated as in an `Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty` and is located midway between London and the South Coast, with good road and rail access to both. The South Downs National park is just a short walk away and the farm itself has many footpaths for you to enjoy and walk amongst our own sheep. With the benefit of good transport links many guests also visit some of the Souths major theme parks such as Chessington World Of Adventures, LEGOLAND, Thorpe Parke and Paultons Park, all within an hours drive. We can take guests for longer periods if you are moving house or maybe have the builders in. Discounts available especially in winter months.
