La Petite Maison

La Petite Maison has a comfortable lounge, a kitchen/diner with a balcony overlooking the park and river. There is a downstairs toilet. There are two bedrooms (sleeps 4) with a Jack & Jill bathroom with shower. A cot and extra single bed can be arranged if necessary. Child safety gate and car seat also available on request. There is a deck leading on to the garden and pool - perfect for sundowners. All amenities are within walking distance. We have an above ground pool in the garden. Also access from the rear of the property to car park and the River Colmont. We are within walking distance of bars cafes and restaurants, boulangeries, supermarkets, and overlook the Colmont River. Ideal for fishing and kayaking or just having a picnic and relaxing. For more energetic pursuits there is also the Colmont de Gorron leisure park where from April to October the activities are: Accrobranche, paintball, swin golf (variant of classic golf, with only one rod, laser game, mountain biking etc. A great day out for families. There is a communal swimming pool within walking distance and a skate board park. Only a short drive away there are numerous Chateaux to visit in Mayenne, (including the “Escape to the Chateau” of television fame), Laval, Fougeres - too many to mention. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. 20 minutes by car to Mayenne, 40 minutes to Laval. Train station in Laval takes you to Paris in 1.5 hours. As well as lovely countryside, Gorron has everything you may need from choice of restaurants to fishing, sports centre, shopping, pharmacy, launderette, and medical centre.
