Hodge Cottage is a delightful retreat with light, open planned living room, fully equipped kitchen, bedroom with double bed, en-suite shower room, double bed sofa, private garden, decking and views over farmland. Set down a private lane and at the end of our land. Walking distance to Fontwell Race Course. Easy reach of Goodwood, Arundel and surrounding countryside walks. Therapy, qigong and yoga centre available to guests at a discount, if you are looking to let go of any tensions and stress. Hodge Cottage comes with it's own, good size, private garden and decking area where you can enjoy the sun setting, BBQ's and often, the local deers that visit the fields at the rear. With a therapy centre onsite it could also be ideal for small groups looking for a place to work from or run a workshop. To access Hodge Cottage walk down the side of our house through the black gates. At the end of the path (towards the back of our garden) is the private gate to Hodge Cottage and it’s garden. We live onsite, so are here to help make your stay as comfortable as possible, whilst giving you all the privacy you need. We love it here, and would like you to love your stay too. As a family we are eco conscious with our food, waste and products we use. Recycling bins are provided for you. Within walking distance you can enjoy a local curry from the 4.5* Basmati or the 4* British pub The Wilkes Head. One of our other favourite places to eat is 4.5* The George in Eartham. Booking ahead is advised. You can also walk to Fontwell Racecourse from here or easily drive to Goodwood (just along the A27). Chichester city and Arundel, with their many restaurants, are also within easy driving distance. Local village of Barnham, with railway station, has an excellent Coffee Barista, chinese takeaway, chip shop and convenient stores. Our local convenient store is walking distance in Eastergate. We are ideally situated south of the A27 and between Arundel and Chichester. Bognor seafront is within 5 miles. Also a convenient location for exploring the South Downs, woodland walks and surrounding Sussex villages. As mentioned elsewhere in the booking info we have two children, three cats and a young Labrador.
