ENTIRE GUEST SUITE -CENTRAL STAMFORD WITH WIFI

Guests have use of an entire suite / a light, spacious bedroom in our annexe, just 10m from a 16th century Elizabethan cottage in the very heart of Stamford. (High St. is barely 1 min walk away but the street is quiet, as it is an access only road) The annexe has a private entrance with 2 secure locks. Parking- free on site or close-by. Private en-suite bathroom & shower. Wifi, TV, microwave, kettle & light breakfast are provided & guests are welcome to use our cottage kitchen & laundry. The guest suite is above a domestic store and workshop. It is bright and airy, the 2 windows curtained with extra-thick lining fabric for night-time light exclusion. King sized 5ft. bed with medium/firm mattress, covered by a luxurious Hypnos alpaca mattress topper for added comfort! There are also 4 soft foam single mattresses so 2 additional comfortable single beds can be made, if needed, although the space then becomes a little restricted. Small fridge provided (in workshop below) and tea/coffee making facilities. Wifi and TV (connected by Wifi) are also available. There is one flight of stairs to reach the guest space. We do ask guests to kindly remove all outdoor shoes BEFORE climbing the stairs to the guest suite to avoid unsightly stains on the carpet. Guests are welcome to sit in and enjoy our beautiful, albeit small, garden, with use of a marble dining table with chairs. Our fully equipped kitchen is available on request. Also access to laundry facilities, if needed. We are a very friendly and I hope welcoming retired couple, who will be happy to provide you with information about the town and everything you might need during your stay. Stamford is a stunningly beautiful Georgian town and many of the town's houses are of historical interest. Our house is very close to the main shopping streets and there are numerous cafes and pubs within a minute or two of our cottage. Also Stamford Arts Centre is a 4 minute walk away, where there is a cinema and theatre. Often there are free art exhibitions for everybody to enjoy and classes in Mindfulness and Meditation, among many activities and facilities on offer at the centre. Stamford station is within a 10 minute walking distance from our cottage. If you do not wish to walk, you can take a taxi from the station forecourt. If you arrive by car, there is ample public parking close-by at reasonable cost. N.B. We can usually offer free parking within a gated area behind our cottage but occasionally no space is available for guests. In this event, there is a car park entrance almost opposite our cottage, where the parking is free from 6 pm until 8 am. You will however be able to park close to our house to unload your car when you arrive. (Further details will be sent on booking.) A long stay car park is about 2 minutes walk away, if needed. We currently have no pets so can provide a hypo-allergenic environment! Guests are welcome to use our garden and eat at the marble-topped dining table during the warmer weather.
