The Sea Front Fisherman's House

Literally 3 meters away from the seafront, our stone cottage house is ready to offer unparallel experience to those who love the real touch of nature. After 4 generations born and raised in this small cuteness, we restored and renovated our family house, in order to share the privilege we enjoyed for so many years, with our kind guests. The house of 100sm features one spacious living room with a fire place, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary amenities for family cooking, a common bathroom and 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. Literally at your doorstep, only five steps away, you will dive in the crystal clear waters of the Pagasitikos Gulf. Sunbeds and umbrella will be there for you and this will be your play ground throughout the day. Our house extends in one level, the ground floor. 18klm drive from Volos, or just 15 minutes you will find our seaside village "Kato Gatzea". We will be there to welcome you and check you in. Our presence during your stay will always be discreet and we will be available when you need us. Kato Gatzea is a small fishing village which is surrounded by olive groves, and is situated on the west side of the Pelion peninsula in Greece. It lies just to the north of Kala Nera (3 kilometer) and the distance to the capital city of Volos is about 18 kilometers. The village has a beach that is a combination of sand and small pebbles and a there is a harbor. The village of Kato Gatzea is pretty quiet. The Greek ambience is all over the place as well as the beautiful surroundings (where more beaches can be found). Along the boulevard with some trees and palms you can find a number of seafood restaurants and there are some simple accommodations for tourists to choose from. Between Kato Gatzea and Kala Nera, directly on a nice beach, there is a campsite. Here on this sandy beach that is called Sikia beach, you can find shade under the trees that are growing as far as on the beach. The water at Sikia beach is shallow, the sea is quite calm and it is safe swimming for children. There is a mini market and a tavern at the beach. Nearby are a few small bays with rocks where you possibly also could go swimming. 1 A/C unit in the living room which is over enough for the whole house. Outdoors table with chairs, mosquito nets at the windows, tap water is totally perfect, ample of parking space next to the house.
