Shepherds Hut - nr Ashdown Forest

The Bothy provides an opportunity to get away from it all in this beautiful shepherds hut, situated in a small private wooded field. Fire pit for night time relaxation, and cooking. Wood/firelighters will be provided at an extra cost of £10 or you can bring your own - please specify on your booking and pay separately on arrival. Inside there’s a small induction hob for preparing meals, mini fridge, pans, plates and utensils. The double bed is extremely comfortable, fitted with good quality cotton sheets, feather protected pillows. Clean and fresh - fully plumbed shower, small hand basin and wc within the hut. Conveniently located for walkers - step out of the gate and onto to the East/West Sussex Border path, walk to Heaven Farm, or through the vineyards to The Sloop (energetic walkers or short 3 minute drive). Close to the Ashdown Forest (7 min drive). Drive 12 mins to Forest Row, or15 minutes to the beautiful historic town of Lewes Look out for the owls, and other local wildlife.
