The perfect relaxing staycation! Features: landscaped patio, hot tub hire, Chef hire, Sky TV, underfloor heating and much more! The room flow makes it ideal for entertaining, or equally chilling out in front of a film. You will find statement fabrics and velvet throws throughout, alongside a heavy accent on nature. The build took over two years from start to completion and launched as this luxurious holiday let in December 2020. Dodds Barn has a unique and vibrant essence, shown as soon as the main doors are opened and just radiates joy. There is plenty of wildlife to observe, such as Hares and Deer, as the property directly overlooks the surrounding fields from it's patio area and bifold doors. The inspiration of the interior décor began with the purchase of the quirky crane’s feet kitchen bar stools (a Cornwall original design) and well …the seed was then planted. The rest of the design evolved beautifully over time with the use of different tiles in the ensuites giving the basis of each rooms name and design. In 2022, the space will expand with two more bedrooms, and a games room. All areas, the property is entirely yours! Our owners are nearby and are more than happy to help if needed, we can answer all questions prior to booking and help you best plan your stay with our local knowledge! Our chef can prepare any meal you need, from three course to buffet to afternoon tea! We also run a personalised and fully interactive cocktail masterclass, which you and your guests can enjoy as part of your celebrations! The options are endless, and really create a fun and exciting atmosphere to get the party started! Dodd’s Barn is a brand new recently renovated holiday let, situated in the quiet pretty South Norfolk Village of Fersfield. Originally named Winfarthing when the site was allocated to the Eighth Air Force in 1942, it was renamed Fersfield when built for the Eighth Air Force 1943-44. USAAF and US Navy projects ‘Aphrodite’ ‘Batty’ and ‘Anvil’ (attempts to develop and use radio-controlled aircraft as precision weapons) were launched from the airfield in 1944, one of which resulted in the death of Lt Joseph Kennedy, elder brother of future US President John F Kennedy. The airfield was closed in 1946, and it has been since returned to agriculture. To this day you can take a little drive to see the old remnants of the Nissan Huts. The Barn is close to many Attractions such as Banham Zoo, Bressingham Steam and Gardens, Paintballing, Knettishall Heath and many more. Perfect for family holidays or even Hen Parties! There are no neighbouring properties, so you can fully relax in the countryside! There are 3 supermarkets in Diss – Morrisons, Tesco, Aldi and a Market on Fridays. Village shop in Bressingham and Kenninghall. Farmers market 1st Saturday in the month at North Lopham. You are welcome to arrange a delivery directly to the property after your arrival time.
