Peebles Town Apartment

Built in 1885 our double fronted Peebles Town Apartment is located on the ground floor with private access. Based in the heart of Peebles town which has a variety of independent shops, supermarket, restaurants and coffee shops all within a few minutes walk. Perfect for those participating in outdoor pursuits as near to Glentress forest, local swimming pool, the River Tweed and only a 35 minutes drive to Edinburgh. We can also now offer free WiFi. Your’ll have full and private use of this ground floor apartment which consists of a bedroom with a queen size bed, living room with tv, dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. There’s a bathroom with electric shower and free WiFi. This is a private apartment so your’ll have full use of the building and facilities. We live in Peebles and are available if you have any queries. We have a key box so you’re able to arrive at your leisure. Our apartment is based on the old Peebles high street which runs adjacent to the main high street which is only a minute walk to get to. There’s McColls across the road and Sainsbury’s is a 4 minute walk away. There’s plenty of cafes, restaurants and pubs in the high street and lots of independent shops along with some well known high street shops. Peebles is a thriving tourist town and has plenty of character and places to explore if you enjoy walking. There’s also Glentress a couple of miles away which is extremely popular for those who enjoy mountain biking. There’s free parking just outside the apartment on Biggiesknowe with a small car park at the top of the street and a larger car park behind Cocoa Blacks Coffee Shop located on the other side of the road at the bottom of the street (that one is pay and display although not expensive). Biggiesknowe consists of about 30 property’s so where ever you park it won’t be far away. There’s also regular buses which go into Edinburgh. We often get asked if dogs can stay which is yes. We do ask that their owners do sweep and clean up any additional mess/dog hair that can sometimes occur. This means that we don’t have to charge any extra for cleaning.
