Pool villa close to Beach, 35 mins to Copenhagen

Our spacious house in Elsingore is just north of the historical town centre in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach and forrest. Enjoy the private garden with a nice heated swimmingpool (open May to September). Or cross the road to the beach for a dip in Øresund. You have 15-20 mins walk to the Old town, The Cultural yard and Kronborg Castle. Easy access til Cph. by car or train and by ferry to Helsingborg in Sweden. The house is a good base for exploring North Zealand and Cph. Modernist splitlevel house designet by a local architect i 1956. Now rewamped and equipped with a nice heated pool (open May-Sep). Location just opposite the beach in the historical town of Elsingore. 35 mins by car from Copenhagen. The whole house and garden is at your disposal We are accessible by telephone and SMS (are usually on holidays ourselves). Pool system is serviced approx. 1-2 times per week during your stay. Quiet and private location. Just opposite the beach and with forrest on the backside of the house. This green area stretches into the forrest of Teglstrup Hegn and Hellebæk skov. A large forrest with plenty of space for jogging, mountainbiking and with beautiful lakes. In the other direction, towards the historical city center, you can walk through the forrest/parks along the local train line to Marienlyst Castle and the city center. 15-20 walk to the town centre of Elsingore (The historical old town and shopping street, the Cultural Yard and Hamlets Kronborg Castle. 5 minutes walk to the local train stop (5 mins ride to Elsingore centre and 15 mins ride to the beach town Hornbæk and 45 mins to the coastal town Gilleleje). From Elsingore centre you can catch the direct train to Copenhagen/Malmø or take the ferry to Helsingborg. There are two parking places in the driveway in front of the house. Other parking (free) is available on the street, Højstrupvej/Eremitvej, 2-5 mins walk from the house. Our friendly cat, Jazzy needs dry food and water every day. It lives both inside the house and outside. Jazzy loves people and is very friendly with kids. Please treat him kindly :-) From May to September the swimmingpool is open and is heated to 20-23 degrees celcius depending on weather/rain. It has an automated dosing system. All you have to do is take out leaves and and other objects that could fall into the water and start up the wacuum robot if you want to clean the buttom/sides of the pool. The system is serviced 1-2 times pr. week depending on the weather.
