A rural retreat on the edge of the Broads in the beautiful Waveney Valley. Just 30 mins drive from fabulous east coast beaches and the historic city of Norwich. This holiday location is perfect for relaxing and enjoying local walks and amazing countryside or getting "out and about" for day trips. Enjoy miles of off road footpaths across the beautiful Norfolk/Suffolk border. Local market towns of Bungay and Beccles have many attractions with Beccles being the "Gateway to the Norfolk Broads" The accommodation is a detached self contained bungalow next door to the Hosts house. It is fenced off and totally private. It is modern and well equipped and provides spacious accommodation for two offering a separate bedroom, bathroom, utility and kitchen/living room for "home from home" comfortable living. It has its own driveway and parking spaces and has a large shingle outdoor seating area and bbq. The outdoor space is fully enclosed and therefore dog friendly. The inside is modern, stylish and well equipped. It is light and airy with open roof spaces and velux windows letting in lots of natural light. The accommodation is ideal for couples however we welcome additional infants under 2 years old if you can supply your own cot and linen. This was formally a garage and farmhouse outbuilding converted 10 years ago to an annexe to all modern insulation building regulations keeping it warm and cosy in winter. We live next door and will be happy to help with any questions if at home. We are also contactable at all other times via messaging. We believe in giving our guests total privacy and space to enjoy their holiday. Within the village, Broome Heath is visited by people from miles around as it is well known for it fantastic lakes and country walks. The Artichoke pub in Broome is friendly and serves great food and real ales. They are a dog friendly pub. Local towns and villages also have a wealth of country pubs and good food. There is a local bus service to local towns and Norwich from Broome. There are many local walks we can advise you of the routes.
