A great stay near the university and the hopsital.

Welcome to a nice, quiet and convenient home away from home! There is easy access to Arlanda Airport by direct commute, a brisk walk to the university Hospital on the other side of the river and you can find almost all convenience in the area, as a large food market, gyms, restaurants or hairdressers. The neighbourhood is family friendly and the scenery absolutely gorgeous. As my children grew and left, I was left with too much space. Uppsala, being a universitytown, always have a lack of housing and I want to share my beautiful, spacious and very convenient space. The flat is on the second floor and enjoys privacy, but do have a large balcony with a big sofa, where you can have friends over or hang out. The space is nextdoor to a food store, with a large and healthy food sortiment, at a good price. The commutebus to Arlanda stops almost just outside. And a walk over the riverlet, through the park will get you to Akademiska Hospital and alot of their employees live here. Your room has plenty of storage and the bed is made with nice linen. You will have your private work space with good WIFI and access to a printer. We respect privacy and there is a lock for your door, if you prefer to use it. The bathroom is spacious with a shower, and laundry abilities. I am living in the space and due to a rehabperiod, I am spending a lot of time at home. Even working from home. of course I am vaccinated against covid and expect you to be that too. This place actually contains a small pilates studio, if you feel up to it. I love my space and hope you will too! You will get, a private room, with room for two but great for single. If you need a kiddie or baby bed that can be arranged. Free WIFI You can lock your door. Access to bathroom with a shower, washer and dryer. Access to use of the pilatesstudio, kitchen, place to store your food, all essentials in the kitchen, livingroom with TV and Chrome Cast and CD player, balcony with lounge area. Outdoor private park, for residents Playground Very nive neighbours. These are special times and I expect you to stay at distance and use a facemask as you first arrive. For long time rentals this will not be the case, as we will become a small unit. The only other person in the flat is me and my guests. Feel free to feel at home and practise respectul and considerate behaviour. A friend of mine once said that Uppsala is a hidden paradise of the world. Well, yes I love my town and it is very beautiful. Uppsala has old Viking heritage and remains. The university was founded in 1477 and since we are very traditional, we still pratice some of the social traditions... Uppsala Akademiska hospital is a large teaching hospital, with 300 years history. From my place you can easily access interesting places to visit or people to meet. Uppsala is very friendly by nature and the food is excellent. As for the essentials you can easily shop, go to the phramacy, rent a scooter or a bike. Take a walk by the river or stroll through the neighbourhoods small parks, or take a walk by the river. My place is just far away enough from the loud clubs, but close enough to get places. Rent a bike. Take a bus. Or the commute to Stockholm. And carrental is just across the street. Children and extra guests are welcome. There is a cat in the household. Dobby is a very nice and friendly (and talkative) cat. He does have a special sense for how people feel and acts like a therapy cat. He is a special race, Selkirk Rex, and has curly fur. And even me, who normally can react with allergy, don’t react on his special fur.
