Beautiful quirky cottage right in the heart of Holmfirth, which has been made famous through 'last of the summer wine' Renovated to a high standard our cottage has all the modern expectations whilst maintaining an original feel You will find under floor heating in the lounge and top floor. The kitchen has been restored to its original features with a working gas AGA which ensures a warm homely feeling at all times. 1 Parking space We hope you love your stay in Holmfirth Paul and Amy Our (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) cottage has been renovated to a high standard throughout whilst ensuring we carefully preserved the original features, you will see the old beams in the vaulted ceilings on the top floor along with an inset mirror in the bathroom which was previously a window prior to the cottages forming a terrace row. The wood burner in the lounge has a top oven which is ideal for roasting chestnuts whilst sipping mulled wine, along with a Netflix account, so you can enjoy a cosy night in relaxing. The kitchen is the heart of the home with an AGA which ensures a warm welcome every time. A parking space for 1 small car is available at the property as well as an outdoor seating area where you can enjoy the afternoon/early evening sun with a glass of vino. You have a number of excellent restaurants and bars a stone's throw away and the famous Sid's cafe is only a few doors down! Guests have access to the property, use of parking for 1 small car and the outdoor seating area. The house is on a fairly steep, busy hill which is how you access the parking space. We provide a coffee machine with pods. A selection of herbal teas. A welcome hamper with some local treats for you to indulge in. Please let us know if it is a special occasion! We welcome families but please be mindful our cottage has been fully restored to its original features, is spread over 3 stories and has fairly steep narrow stone staircases which is not suitable for children or anyone with walking difficulties. The Aga is always on so it is warm/hot to touch and we have a free standing Woodburner. We can provide a high chair on request but we dont have stair gates and young children will need to be supervised at all times.
