Boat Frederiek

Frederiek is a classic Dutch boat, she lies in one of the most beautiful parts of Holland .take a trip along one of the many typical Dutch canals and sail along pittoresque old villages , the famous windmills and grazing cows in the meadows. Hello traveler, Frederiek is a classic boat . you don,t need a license to sail this boat . Boating is not necessary because the area where the boat lies, is beautiful at it self , we can also put the boat at the island "the Woude" . which is perfect for hiking. There are the two nice cafe / restaurant on the island, so you do not have to worry about lunch and dinner. There are four beds, two fixed and a sofa that converts into another two beds. The boat has a coolbox, two burner stove and a camping toilet, . Frederiek ,s harbor is in front of our house in North-Holland, hidden in the reeds. its just a half hour sailing to the lake "Alkmaardermeer" where you can enjoy boating and where various ports to dock for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a shower. But you can also choose to take the canal route, sleep in the reeds at the dike. Alkmaar with its cheese market is 1,5 hours by boat ,and Amsterdam is within half a day away.
