The Art Lodge Gusborn

Our 70 m2 apartment listed with its own entrance is in our half timbered house built in 1804. The house has its own charm typical for the area in and around Wendland. The balcony ( 16 m2 ) of the apartment is at the back of the house and has a view into the unspoiled countryside with the artistic garden and pond. All of which can be used by our guests. The apartment has a bedroom with a kingsize doble bed, a living & dining room, one bath and a full equipped kitchen. The apartment can be entered by the separate entrance reached by the spiral staircase. We have installed a clever winch for all your luggage or maybe even heavy shopping. The downstairs part of the house we share with our sweet dog Sila. Our guests can relax in the garden or if you like you can use the grill to enjoy your time with a nice barbecue. We are always available for our guests. Surrounded by fields, woods, the biotope "Niedersächsische Elbtalaue" and nearby the "Elbe" but still in a central position this is an ideal location for nature lovers. Discover the magical Wendland countryside either by car, bicycle or on foot. Nearby are the towns Dannenberg ( 7km ) or Lüchow ( 14km ) with the original old stud work houses. Both have good local shops. Cafés with the original sounding names such as " Das Sprechzimmer" can be found in the old town of Dannenberg. The people from here are creative and versatile. Long walks along the "Elbe" are ideal for just relaxing. There are boat trips which just enhance the experience even more. On hot days there are lakes to cool down in. Also not to forgotten the well known " Rundlingsdörfer" are always worth a visit. The most popular way of getting around is by bicycle or car. The nearest railway station for connections to Hamburg or Lüneburg is in Dannenberg ( 7km from our house ). For those who bring their own bicycles, we have a lockable space. You can park your car directly in the fenced area of our house.
