Comfortable, spacious off grid accommodation for 2 people. Ideal for walking/cycling peaceful holidays. Local facilities include La Plage at Sillé Le Guillaume for swimming, sailing, fishing, forest walks,cycle rentals, adventure park and restaurants. Nearby is the picturesque Alps Mancelles region. For the adventurous there is the opportunity to go bungy jumping at St Georges Le Gaultier viaduct and canoeing along La Sarthe river. Our nearest town is Alençon,20 mins, or Le Mans 45mins away. We look forward to welcoming you to our home, we have endeavoured to ensure that the off grid facilities are easy to use and effective. You will need to heat your water for the shower which is then powered by battery, and the dry compost toilet is easy to use and 'discreet', please see photo. Lighting is provided by dynamo lamps and heating by a woodburner ( a heating surcharge will apply for wood, supplied on request). Under cover parking is also available on request. the accomadation is the remaining part of an old manor which stands in the middle of our 'fermette'. There is covered parking available on request, with outdoor seating/barbeque area. We will be available to help with any queries, your accommodation is in the middle of our small holding but in a separate building so you may see us in passing! Car/motorcycle is by far the easiest. Our nearest train station is Sillé le Guillaume (15 mins) Alençon ( 25 mins) or Le Mans (45 mins).
