This is an attractive & newly refurbished house, designed soley with our guests every comfort in mind. The house is stylish and welcoming with plenty of character. Fire up the log burner and turn on the smart tv where you can stream romantic music, watch a film, soft lighting and open a bottle of wine for a wonderful evening. The house is well stocked. It has fast wifi. The sheltered south facing garden, is a sun trap. The location is wonderful , only 7 minutes walk to the beach. The house has everything for your comfort that you need. A new kitchen, well stocked, microwave, fridge-freezer with complimentary drinks to get you started, dishwasher, washing machine and a large pantry. A basket of goodies is in the kitchen to welcome you. A multi-fuel fire for romantic and cosy evenings, lots of soft lighting and a smart tv. Fast Wifi. The kitchen opens to large country dining table that seats 6 and open plan living room, with a stylish navy velvet couch, fireside seating. The house is decorated in a coastal style, and has unusual and attractive decor. There are games and books for your use. There is a downstairs toilet as well as a spacious bathroom upstairs with a full bath and shower. There is a well maintained and attractive good sized private garden at the back with seating and lighting, a bbq solely for your use too. There is an outhouse with cushions for the garden seats, and a tumble dryer. There is a downstairs toilet. The key will be available in a lock box by the door, then I available by phone for any queries you have, restaurant suggestions, places to visit or to be of help. There is a binder with information about the local area, places to order tasty takeaways, whether its the local Indian, Italian or something different like the excellent local Indoneisian boutique restaurant /takeaway or maybe some hearty locally caught fish and chips. The binder is full of local places to visit, whether it's shopping or historical houses, gardens, or local walks or one of the many beautiful beaches. The location is excellent, 7 mins walk to the beach and the rendevouz seafront cafe. Supplied in the house are a picnic blanket and cooler bag and picnic plates, cutlerly , bowls , and tumblers, you are welcome to use these either in the garden ( a south facing suntrap) or at the beautiful beach, or other picnic destination. Next door to the cafe is a green and spacious promenade, you can lesuirely walk a short distance to the Spanish City, a recently restored beautful building with a plethora of eateries, excellent fish and chip restaurant, an oyster and champagne bar, pancake and dessert cafe and many more establishments. Walk the other way from the Rendevouz Cafe and you pass a mini golf/footgolf -course and then you'll arrive at St Mary's Lighthouse. A charming and historical place, with great rock pools and when the tide is out a lovely island to explore. The beaches all along this coastal route are beautiful. Minutes drive away is the historical small town of Tynemouth. It's Saturday and Sunday market at the metro station is a must for the bargain, craft and vintage goods shopper as well as a farmer's market. There is a real coffee shop and restaurant culture in Whitley Bay and Tynemouth resulting in a high standard of places on offer. There is a bustop only metres from the house that can take you to Whitley Bay centre or Newcastle. A very pleasent 16 minutes walk through some park playing fields and childrens park is the route to Monkseaton Metro Station. The metro station is handy for visiting other towns, -Tynemouth or the city. There is a lovely craft ale and wine house at the station too, "Left Luggage". Walking along the coast is beautiful. You will meet fellow walkers and cyclists on dedicated paths all along the coast. There is local surfing and equipment hire for skilled or absolute beginners, kayaking, canoeing, a fishing haven. A lovely children's park next to Tynemouth beach with a boating lake, a maze, and a interactive dinasour crazy golf course. There are many historical places of interest locally. The location is great for families, with much on offer. Great for couples, too, with romantic and good restaurants aplenty and boutique places for a craft ale or a nice wine. Small dogs are allowed with advance notice to the landlord . Please be aware there are no baby gates in the property. There is a nursery fire guard available on request.
