We are social people and as time permits would be happy to support and share local knowledge gleaned from 50 years living on this street. We have lived on in our neighborhood for over 50 years. There are 7 homes on the street made up of mostly professional people. The street is quiet. Our adjoining neighborhood has about 50 homes and is made up of families from all over the world. All of the streets are safe and pleasant walk around at anytime. We can also recommend longer walks going through the woods or around the Winchester Country Club that was founded in 1902. Our home is 1 block from a "T" bus stop, 2.5 miles from Alewife train station, about 1.1 miles to Arlington or Winchester Center. We are 10 miles from Boston and about 11 miles to Logan airport. Harvard center is 4.5 miles away. We are one block form a "T" bus stop. We are the end house located on a quiet cul de sac. The house and apartment backs up to 4 acres of conservation land which borders a lake. The conservation land has several walking paths.
