Mediterranean Stone Cottage

The Zichron Yaacov Loggia, or lodge, is a beautiful, renovated 100-year old stone cottage, in the heart of the historic centre of Zichron Yaacov. The cottage is set in a tranquil and luxuriant contemporary Mediterranean gravel garden. Guests are invited to sample for themselves any of the garden's organic produce (lettuces, pomegranates, grapes, according to season). The cottage can accommodate up to eight people comfortably: a couple in a Queen-sized bed (plus crib if requested) in the master bedroom, and up to six single beds in the spacious second and third bedrooms (the third bedroom is opened for groups larger than 4 people). The Loggia is air-conditioned throughout and in addition all bedrooms have ceiling fans. There is a fully-equipped kosher/vegetarian kitchen and special arrangements can be made for shabbat-observant families. The kitchen has an electric hob, full-sized oven and fridge freezer, microwave and coffee machine. A washing machine, ironing facilities and of course free Wi-Fi, are also provided. Guests may take a gentle 5-minute stroll into town to enjoy Zichron's charming and relaxed atmosphere, with its many cafes, boutiques, restaurants and wine-bars, as well as the historic Aronson House and Museum and Ohel Yaacov synagogue and the First Aliyah Museum. In addition, tours are available in English of the two local wineries - the Carmel Mizrachi Winery and the Tishbi Winery. The glorious beaches of Hof Dor and HaBonim (a Nature Parks Authority nature reserve) are a few minutes drive away. Windsurfing and paragliding are both available nearby and scuba diving courses can be arranged among the ancient ruins of Caesarea, 15 minutes south of Zichron. The train station is an easy 7 minute drive from Zichron, with fast and direct trains to Tel Aviv and Haifa (30 minutes) and Ben Gurion Airport (50 minutes) from Binyamina station. Come and see for yourselves! Guests will have private access to the cottage garden. We have been successfully operating this holiday apartment for almost 10 years and have many satisfied customers. We are in the centre of the historic old town of Zichron - the Moshava - and the Midrechov, or cobbled main street, is a 5 minute walk away. There is ample free on-street parking outside the property. There are buses to the train station, Haifa, Tel Aviv and the local mall and beaches (in season) that pick-up from our street or very close by. Cleaning Fee: 300 NIS Minimum 1 night stay The listed price is a base price for 2 people. Extra beds are charged at 150 NIS per person per night. Special prices apply to Jewish holidays. Checkout on Saturdays is always up until the end of Shabbat.
