The Old Tractor Barn, part of Crabwood Cottages, is a peaceful rural holiday accommodation with lovely views and wonderful forest walks on your doorstep, yet perfectly located to explore The South of England and nearby cathedral city of Winchester. The Old Tractor Barn has been tastefully converted into a light and airy rural holiday accommodation with lovely views over rolling fields and forest. Being situated right on a bridleway leading to wonderful woodland and rolling countryside, it offers beautiful walks and cycle routes on your doorstep. There is a wonderful community-run village shop within half a mile and The Plough, an excellent pub/restaurant within three quarters of a mile. The village is also lucky to have Lainston House Country Hotel just down the road, providing a perfect venue for a special afternoon tea or early evening cocktail! Guests have a dog-proof garden surrounding The Old Tractor Barn but are very welcome to walk through the field to access the wonderful woods. Check in and out can be flexible but generally access will be from 3pm and check out by 10am. Further afield, The Old Tractor Barn is ideally located to explore the South of England enabling easy access to the magnificent cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury with all their award winning pubs and restaurants, local market towns of Stockbridge and Romsey, the New Forest with all it has to offer and even Isle of Wight, London and Bath are accessible as day trips. We are approximately a 10 minute drive from Winchester train station, with London Waterloo only an hour away. There is a bus stop in the village with buses into town every hour!
