The Cajun Cabin Guest Cottage

Located approx 22 miles (25-30 min) from downtown Lafayette. Cozy 416 sq ft. cabin with covered parking in the middle of our unique Cajun French Community. We are in walking distance to some great restaurants and are 2 blocks away from the Bayou Teche. Come and stay and make a memory!!!! We love our four legged friends, however the no pet policy is non-negotiable. If you are intrigued with the Tiny House Movement", you will love our cabin. There is a very comfy queen sized bed in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room area that is comfortable for 2 children or 1 adult. As with most tiny houses, the bathroom is very small but well equipped with a sink/small vanity, toilet, and shower. There’s a refreshment area with a mini refrigerator/freezer, microwave and a coffee maker (with coffee) - it is not a full kitchen. There’s a cozy small front deck/porch and around the back there’s a private deck area. Also available is a charcoal grill (we do not supply charcoal or lighter). *****Please note that phone numbers are not available until after the booking on Airbnb. So if you send your number I cannot call you prior to the reservation. There’s also a cottage next door that will sleep 6 people and can be booked separately on Air BnB (The Heart of Arnaudville Cajun Guest House). Small Flat screen TV, refreshment area with mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot with coffee. Also, you are walking distance to a great grocery store (Russell's). They prepare delicious lunches everyday....good Cajun cooking!!! We are not on-site but aren’t too far away and are very responsive to messages. Country-feel in the middle of town. We are in walking distance to local restaurants, The Little Big Cup, NuNu Art and Cultural Center, Tom's Fiddle and Bow Shop, Vincent Darby's Art Studio, grocery stores......and the post office! The cabin is only 1.5 miles from The BayouTeche Brewery. You are able to walk or drive around town. Check in time can be flexible if we do not have it booked the night before your arrival.
