The house is straight down from the local bus station and ATMs. In a walking distance there are the pharmacy and doctor’s office, bakery, restaurants, coffee places, grocery stores, and all types of mini market stores. Historical places and medieval castles are close by too. From the comfort of the garden, you can view the traditional windmills that secretly invite you to visit. For those enjoying nature walks, there are the traditional walking paths near and the Skiadi which is listed in the geo monuments atlas of Greece. If you do not have your own transport you can have a tour of the island via the local bus service which is really close by. If you have your own transport please bear in mind that the roads are narrow and you need to drive carefully. All locations are easily reachable in a radius of less than 12km. You can also ride on one of the ferry-boats to have a day tour to Milos and other boats for the island tour as well as to visit nearby islands. During your stay there are other places to visit in the island such as museums, the castle, byzantine orthodox churches and more.
