Relax and enjoy in La Petite Source

'La petite source' is a cozy holiday accommodation for 4 people (and a baby) on the edge of Fontenoille at 8 km of Florenville and 3 km from the river Semois. A place where you will appreciate the peaceful setting, the pristine landscape and the flowering garden. Renting a cozy room with bathroom for 2 persons is possible (see other advertisement). Fontenoille is an interesting base with a central location. Ideal for exploring the Semois Valley and the Belgian and French Gaume region. The holiday home is located in a separate part of our house with full privacy. The timber house has a commanding view on the surrounding garden and grasslands and the Ardennes forests. The garden is full of flowers and butterflies. Two guests who rented the appartment spotted some rare night butterflies which you can find on (Website hidden by Airbnb) and we regularly see red kites above our house. The holiday home has a cosy lounge with dining area, a TV, CD player with MP3 and free Wifi on demand. A kitchen with electric stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffeemaker, electric kettle and kitchen utensils and kitchen towels. Possibility to use washing machine (against payment) and freezer from the owner. Two bedrooms, one with a large double bed and another with bunk bed, both with comforters. If necessary we can provide you a baby bed. Bed sheets are included. Bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet, bath towels, shampoo and shower cream. Private terrace equipped with garden furniture adjoining the shady prune orchard. Children will enjoy the swing in the garden and in wintertime the sledges. The gîte has central heating. We share the income hall and the stair case. We live in the left part of the house, our guests stay in the right part. In the huge garden, you can always find a cozy place to relax. There is a folder with maps, tourist leaflets, restaurants in the area, biking- and hiking routes. There is private parking available for 2 cars and store room for bikes. Fontenoille is located in the Belgian province of Luxemburg, close to the French border and the French Ardennes, with the famous city of Sédan and the nearby battle field of the first worldwar. It is an interesting base with a central location, ideal for exploring the Semois Valley and the Belgian and French Gaume region. The meandering river Semois, which runs at 3 km from the house, is one of the most splendid natural environments of the Ardennes. The many typical villages along the river are like pearls on a wonderful string: Chassepierre, Herbeumont, Florenville, Poupehan, Dohan, Cordemoy, Bouillon, Vresse, Rochehaut, Frahan… The region is an excellent place to bike, to hike, to do horseriding and especially to discover the Semois river by canoe. The Gaume region is a quiet region with rolling woodlands and breathtaking open spaces which enjoys a mild climate. Nature is here on its best with wild animals, orchids, butterflies and many interesting bird species. If you care for quiteness and abundant nature this is the place to be, not to forget the excellent local cuisine which one can taste at many places around. There is a bus stand in our village. You will enjoy the cozy atmosphere and our warm hospitality. Our main concern is to make our guests happy.
