The apartment is centrally located, within walking distance of the pedestrian street and the city's main square. However, the apartment is quiet, the bedroom window is not street-front. There are many restaurants, shops and bars nearby. Since the flat is in a middle of the town and the downtown itself is walkable, I'd definitely recommend walking. For longer distances use local taxi companies, they have a fixed rate for in-town rides.
