Airy converted stables, comfortable large bedroom with french windows onto garden, kitchen and shower room with heated floor and towel rail. Central heating and air conditioning. Own entrance. Friendly, safe and cosy. Parking space for one car. Conveniently placed for the twice hourly train service to London or Cambridge. Excellent local pub - The Plough - just 3 minutes walk, also home made cakes and tea at Teacake 2 minutes walk. Trains to Cambridge take 12 minutes and to London 75mins. The kitchen has a kettle, toaster, microwave, single induction hob and a small fridge. We don't make breakfast but if you require milk and bread deliveries please just ask. I live in the house that the studio adjoins. I can most easily be contacted by mobile phone. Shepreth is an historic village with a 12th century church, village pub, and mill. Local attractions include Shepreth Wildlife Park, Fowlmere RSPB, Wimpole Hall, Duxford Air Museum, and Cambridge. Lots of local walks. Easily accessible from M11 or A1/A505. Excellent train service from Shepreth station. Lots of local walks, you can follow the course of the river Shep from its source, a chalk stream full of interest, or you can walk across the fields to picturesque Barrington and climb Barrington Hill to get a panoramic view of Cambridge. Internet access is good, there is a local secure hub in the accommodation. You can connect by WiFi or cable. Download speeds are good. There is a digibox recorder connected to the television, so you can stream films and TV and record. Heating is by gas central heating. There is a controller/thermostat so that you can program the time the heating comes on and enter a temperature set point . There is electric underfloor heating in the shower room and an electric towel rail. The main room also has an air source heat pump for cooling and heating. The air source heat pump is a more environmentally friendly way of heating if you prefer this to gas central heating.
