Spacious Garden Studio Flat@The Old School

We live in the Old School at Whixley. A converted Victorian School House in a pretty, quiet, Yorkshire village, just off the A59 between Harrogate and York. Other cities and towns that are very close are Wetherby, Boroughbridge, Leeds and Ripon. The Annex is a detached, self contained, well-equipped studio flat, giving guests flexibility, freedom and privacy. We will leave the annex unlocked and ready for you to make yourself at home. We have a very busy house with four children, two digs and a cat so will leave you to your own devices. But always feel free to knock on the door if you have any questions. Our village is quiet, with a tiny shop, pretty church and a busy village hall and pub. The are lots of lovely walks from the village and in the local area. We are also very close to the A1 for easy access north or south. There is a bus that goes through the village to York but is only once every two hours. The train station (Cattal) is a short distance outside of the village. From here you can get quickly to York, Harrogate or Leeds.
