Beautiful light and spacious room with breakfast!

Large sunny room with wet-room downstairs, separate to main house, set in peaceful garden of 7 acres. Delicious breakfast with fresh local free range eggs, free range bacon and real coffee, served in sunny garden room. Vegans catered for too. Relaxed atmosphere in quiet spot just outside Fordingbridge, New Forest. The accommodation is private being separate from the house. The setting is beautiful - 7 acres of rather wild garden including a lake which guests are welcome to enjoy... birds, deer, foxes, badgers and rabbits share the garden. Garden for wandering, garden room for breakfast and a lovely big bed/sitting room for you to make your home during your stay! WiFi available, 16" TV in the room. Tea and coffee delivered to you on request! I’ll be available for local knowledge and anything else you need. Lakewood House sits on the edge of the little town of Fordingbridge with pubs and shops. Fordingbridge in turn sits on the edge of the New Forest with abundant walks and free roaming horses, pigs, cattle and deer. Cathedral city of Salisbury is 25 minutes drive North and seaside town of Bournemouth is 25 minutes South. We are slightly out of town so a car is ideal for getting here and exploring the area. The room is in the roof so there’s limited headroom - the ceiling is normal height but the sides slope so someone tall might have to stoop a little when they get into bed! The wet-room is at the bottom of the stairs. There are two large triangular windows that are uncovered (not found a practical solution yet) so light comes in in the morning. Please be very careful joining the road when leaving the property... use the traffic mirror and check before pulling out.
