Clifftop apartment with unrivalled sea views

The Gleneagles Annex is a newly refurbished Victorian maisonette on top the cliffs overlooking the Thames Estuary in the tranquil Clifftown Conservation area. The large living area and one of the bedrooms (with a balcony) have magnificent views spanning the North Sea, Kent and up towards London. All of the four double bedrooms are en-suite. Southend town centre and the beach are less than five minutes walk away. The fully equipped apartment is like a home from home. And if you don't feel like cooking breakfast or lunch, or fancy a beer, then the guesthouse tearoom is only a step away. Each of the four ensuite bedrooms are equipped with a kettle etc, hairdryer and a tv. Clifftown room has a superking bed which can be split into a twin if required. The building has ultrafast broadband. The guests have sole use of the apartment. The apartment is next to the Gleneagles Guesthouse, which we own and where we live. As such, someone is always around to help you during your stay. Check-in is via the guesthouse. The apartment is in the Clifftown Conservation Area, This area of Southend is beautiful, quiet, with Cliff top gardens to wander through down to the beach, or a short walk to the Cliffs Pavillion for a show. The high street, the famous Southend Pier and Adventure Island are under 5 minutes walk away. We are only 5 minutes walk from Southend Central station. Car parking is available from the guesthouse on check-in at a small cost. London Southend airport is only a 15 minute drive away. If you fancy a day in London let the train take the strain - it's only 55 minutes away.
