The house is located in Saffron Walden, a beautiful medieval market town close to Cambridge and to Stansted Airport. There is also a direct train line to both London and Birmingham. It is a bright and spacious 5 bedroom home that has been recently renovated to include a modern open plan kitchen and underfloor heating throughout the downstairs. The property boasts a downstairs toilet as well as two bathrooms. There are five newly decorated bedrooms, sleeping a total of 9 guests. The modern, sociable kitchen, which has a range style induction cooker and large oak dining table, opens out into the living room, which is bright and fresh and has plenty of space to accommodate all guests. The TV is set up with a Netflix account for guest use. There is underfloor heating throughout the downstairs. There are five well proportioned bedrooms upstairs. The bathroom and separate shower room are modern and include an integrated speakers and stereo through which you can play your ipod. Laundry facilities are available upon request. The house is in Saffron Walden, a charming market down just twenty minutes from the Cambridge and a similar distance from Stansted Airport. Getting to London takes an hour, either by car or by train, and there is also a direct train into Birmingham New Street. It is a beautiful area with lots to see and do, so please do ask us if you would like any recommendations. Free parking is available at the property. There are local buses and there are direct trains to Stansted Airport (15 mins), Cambridge (18 mins), London (55 mins), and Birmingham (3 hours) from the local train station.
