Guesthouse Ingarö - cottage in the archipelago

Our cottage is 44m² and neighbor with nature reserve "Långviks träsk", situated on an island in the archipelago of Stockholm with a bridge connection to the mainland. The cottage has a living room with a small kitchen. Two bedrooms with two beds each. Bathroom, shower and WC. Access to sauna. A large porch with chairs, table and sun beds. 1 km walking distance to the Baltic see. 10 min with the bike to “Björnö” Nature reserves and beaches. 40 Minutes with bus to Stockholm town. Access to sun beds in the garden and an opportunity to pick fresh herbs from our garden. Your hosts, Holger and Maria, will be available most of the time and we are happy to take you on a walk through the nature reserve, passing "Långviks lake", with the possibility to meet elk, see cranes and sea eagles and pot holes from the ice age. 3 km to the Baltic Sea with nice beach-friendly sandy beaches and a popular restaurant overlooking the sea. Here at Ingarö there is also a nice golf course with 36 scenic holes and a restaurant. From the jetty by the church the boat leaves for Sandhamn, known from the Offshore race "Gotland runt" and also from Viveca Sten's drama series "The murder in Sandhamn". 11 km to Gustavsberg, Värmdö Municipality's central city, with an old porcelain factory where famous designers acted as Stig Lindberg and Lisa Larson. Here you will find "Delselius" pastry shop with delicious pastry, good bread and outdoor seating overlooking the marina. Pharmacies, hairdressers, banks, shops, health centers can also be found here as well as outlets like Iittala, Villeroy & Boch, Orrefors Kosta Boda. Between Ingarö and Stockholm is Nacka, where one of Europe's major shopping malls is located with 150 shops and 18 restaurants and free parking for three hours. Parking for one car is possible. There is about 800 meters to bus stop with direct bus to Stockholm city or bus to "Björkviks havsbad", with beaches and cliffs. Park-and-ride to Stockholm is approximately 11 km away, where buses run every 10 minutes to Stockholm city.
