A detached guest house 'B&B De Nachtzwaluw'

In South East Friesland, just outside the village De Hoeve, lies our 'B&B De Nachtzwaluw', a detached guest house, with a view over the surrounding meadows and forests. The location of the B&B is ideal as a starting point for cyclists, hikers and nature lovers. In various directions you will find, among other things, 'National Park Weerribben', 'the Dwingelderveld', 'Drents-Friese Wold', and Giethoorn. 'B&B De Nachtzwaluw' is a detached guest house with a spacious garden. There is no kitchen in our B&B. However there is a microwave, a kettle, a coffeemachine and a refrigerator. Crockery, cutlery etc. is available, as well as coffee and tea. The price for a full breakfast is € 10, -per person. This must be paid at check out. Should we take certain allergies into account, please let us know. If you don't want to order breakfast, no problem! The entire ground floor is heated by underfloor heating. Warm in the winter and pleasantly cool in the summer. The bedroom is heated by a radiator. The door and windows are equipped with good screens. You have a private parking space with can be closed. You can also place your bikes with us in the garage, which can be closed. In this garage is also the possibility to electrically charge the bikes. Upstairs there is a king-size double bed and a baby cot. On the ground floor there is a sofa bed with can be converted to a small 2-persons bed. This makes it possible to rent the B&B for up to 4 persons. There is a LAN connection with WIFI, which is connected to 'faster' internet for the outside area. Behind the B&B is a large covered barn. This is a wonderful place to have breakfast, if the weather permits, or just enjoy the outdoors. There is also a barbecue that you can use. The B&B has its own entrance. We welcome you and show you the space. Then you will receive the key and you will have the B&B at your disposal during the reserved period. The B&B is on our residential area. Do you have questions and/or comments, please let us know. The B&B is situated in a beautiful environment. It is wonderfully quiet here. In the morning you will be awakened by the many birds! Nice to go cycling or walking from the B&B and therefore a very good base to discover Friesland, Overijssel or Drenthe. The river De Linde flows near the B&B. Just outside the village there is an opportunity to rent canoes. From station 'Wolvega' there is the possibility to travel with De "Opstapper" (Arriva) to De Hoeve. This is a taxi or a taxi bus. The costs for this are € 2.50 p.p. The "Opstapper" can be reserved at least 1 hour in advance. From the bus stop in De Hoeve it is a few minutes walk to the B&B. Pets are not welcome in the B&B We have 3 cats as pets. They also have no access to the B&B. You can of course encounter them in the yard. They are used to people and are very friendly. And we have chickens that lay the eggs for breakfast .....
