Modern and idyllic cottage ‘Nooitgedacht’

This beautiful high quality guest house is all you are looking for in the middle of the peaceful ‘green heart’ of the Netherlands in close proximity of all the big cities such as Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht and Amsterdam. A perfect place to relax and wind down minutes away from the lakes. Your daily cappuccino, hand-made croissants and freshly squeezed orange juices at Delifrance are only a 5min walk away, where also the bakery, butcher, supermarket etc. are located. This guest house is 50m2 completely detached from the farm house we are living in. It has a reception room with a Bulthaup kitchen, 49’’ Samsung Smart TV with Netflix, Spotify etc and a Sonos Beam soundbar. The bathroom is brand new with rain shower, double sinks and floor heating. The bedroom has a large and comfortable boxspring bed (180x200cm) and ample storage room. As the guest house only has 1 bedroom it’s ideal for couples, and/or families with one baby/child as a babycot or readybed can be added in the bedroom. There is also an outside patio with outdoor furniture overlooking the water to catch the sun all day round. The whole guest house is decorated in neutral colors. Fast wifi is included, a mobile airconditioning unit can be rented for €25 per day Guests have access to the communal gate and the guest house with their own keys and cars can be parked closeby. The location is absolutely fantastic because in the middle of the beautiful and peaceful Reeuwijk lake district and a 10min bike ride to The historic city Gouda with a train station. Both by car or train Utrecht, Rotterdam, The Hague or the beach can be reached within 30min. Amsterdam is 45min by car/train. Reeuwijk is easy to reach by bike, bus or car and Gouda train station is only a 5min drive. You can also rent biclycles at the nearby store or at Gouda train station. Of course we both like our privacy, so please only use the main entrance, the guest house and the patio. All other areas are restricted. Small dogs are allowed: cleaning charge Eur 25 per week
