The Small House with a Big Welcome

The Small House, is a quaint detached cottage situated just outside the beautiful Cotswold Village of Bibury. Its a short walk to the typically Cotswold charming village of Bibury and just a short drive from Cirencester, and an 8 minute walk away from Arlington Row, owned by the National Trust, which is one of England’s most iconic and photographed sites, it even appears on the inside cover of UK passports! Use the small house as a base to explore and enjoy a true Cotswold experience. This is a small house with a big welcome, having everything you need for a stay in a beautiful Cotswold setting. Park your car on your very own private driveway right next to the house. Get a great night’s sleep in a very comfortable double bed and use the private bathroom facilities including a shower, toilet, sink and towels provided. You will also have the use of your own kitchen facilities (microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge) if you want to bring your own food with you. As a little special touch, we will provide you with some tea/coffee to start your stay off with us. An automatic hand sanitiser has been installed. There is free WiFi, USB charging outlets and a television with Freeview channels. The small house is non-smoking and is for your sole use during your stay. There is space to offer cot/cabin bed facilities for extra guests. Dogs are also welcome, please inform me prior to your stay if you are bringing a dog , they must be well behaved and fully housed trained, there is a small charge of £5 per dog per night, as airbnb doesn't offer a payment option for this we will send you bank details to make the payment or you can pay cash when you arrive, unfortunately we cannot allow puppies to stay. The Small House does not have a secure garden, only the beautiful countryside around us. Both of the above come with an additional cost, but please contact us directly for pricing and availability. A welcome pack is provided to help you with your stay. We do expect the property to be left in a tidy state with rubbish placed in the bins provided. Please place used towels in the shower cubicle so that they can be collected easily at the end of your stay. Please ensure that the departure time is adhered to. Check in is 14:00 – 22:00, Check out is 11:00. A key code will be provided on check in to gain access to the key box outside the front door. On check out, this key will need to be returned to the key box. Any lost key will incur a £25 charge. The 855 bus stop is just metres away and can take you into the local towns from there. With the stunning stone buildings situated along the banks of the River Coln, you have to agree with William Morris who called Bibury ‘The most beautiful village in England.’ Attractions in Bibury include: Bibury Trout Farm, one of the oldest and most attractive trout farms in the country covering almost 15 acres, where you can learn about trout or event catch your own dinner. The wonderful village church, St Mary’s – a Grade 1 listed building with a Saxon gravestone set into the exterior, a superb Norman doorway and some fine medieval windows. Bibury is a popular Cotswolds visitor attraction that can become very busy on a sunny summer afternoon, and even attracts visitors on the coldest winter day. There are several places to eat and drink in the village or buy some picnic ingredients at Bibury Trout Farm Shop or the Post Office and Village Shop. There are a selection of restaurants and pubs to use nearby with all the details found in our welcome pack that will be provided. If guests are bringing their own food please be advised that we only have a microwave to cook with. if guests are bringing a pet please notify me of this prior to your stay.
