Large ensuite room; breakfast inc.

Our house is in the thriving Pennine village of Slaithwaite close to the station with good transport links to Manchester, Leeds, York and Huddersfield. The Lavender room is very large with a large ensuite bathroom. We also have a single room with its own bathroom. We are currently allowing one night with no occupancy between guests to help prevent the spread of COVID19. Very large and comfortable room with very large ensuite bathroom. Access to garden and kitchen as needed. Breakfast provided. Guests have access in their room to wifi, tea-making facilities, ensuite bathroom, desk and great view. In the morning they have access to kitchen and living area to eat breakfast - we will prepare a continental breakfast or occasionally guests may need to prepare own breakfast. They can also use the garden. There is off-road parking available. We will be around during the stay to offer any assistance necessary. Slaithwaite is a bustling village with some lovely cafes, bars, pubs and restaurants. It has galleries, an art studio, yoga studio and community-owned grocery. It's the only place in England to have s canal running along its high street. It has fabulous views of the surrounding hills and Peak District. There are lots of great walks starting from the village and the Pennine Way passes about two miles away. We are a 2 minute walk from the station. The closest bus stop is a 1 minute walk. From here you can get buses to Huddersfield and Holmfirth. (Famous for Last of the Summer Wine and a lovely town with great shops.) The bus stop for buses to Manchester and over the Pennines is about a 7 minute walk. We have 2 cats. While they aren't allowed in the guest room you may encounter them when not in your room! They are friendly.
