The house is in a traditional village in South Pelion, called Vizitsa. It is built according to the local tradditional architecture. Among the churches worth to visit are the Monastery of Agios Ioannis and the chapel of Zoodochos Pighi, both built in the 18th century. In the middle of the village, there is a fountain and two huge plane trees, that cover the whole square with their long branches. You can enjoy your coffee or you can eat some traditional greek food at the taverns under these old plane trees and take a view of the great landscape that will surround you. Among the things to do in Vizitsa, you can try some hiking. There are many paths that connect the villages with beautiful view. Vizitsa can also be used as a base for car excursions around all Pelion area. Furthermore, the village has its own pharmacy and mini market (grocery store). Although its a mountainous village, the access to the sea, both in Aegean Sea and Pagasetic Gulf is very easy and short (about (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minutes) and the route is breathtaking.
