Cabin by the beach with breakfast

Our beautiful garden cabin is right near the beach front, and gives you an impressive view of the sunrise over the ocean. The calming sound of the waves along with the noises of the jungle at night ensure that you have a great night's sleep. A prime location only 30 seconds walk from the untouched, pristine beach, as well as being within the jungle, this property is popular with all kinds of wildlife. Although we say no events or parties, we sometimes have bonfires on the beach. This cabin offers impressive views of the beach, Playa Platanares as well as a beautiful night sky, unblemished by light pollution due to the rural location. The solid hardwood bed and comfy mattress promise a great night's sleep, and the covered balcony with chairs and table provides a relaxing area for you to take some time out. The cabin also has a light and electrical sockets for when you need to log back in to the real world, and wifi is available at the main house. There is a separate building a few seconds from the cabin with toilet and bathroom facilities. You are also free to explore the rest of the property. We also have direct access to the beach, just seconds away! Breakfast is included in this offer, which includes fresh Costa Rican coffee made in the traditional way, fresh local fruit, and the typical Costa Rican breakfast - eggs, pinto (rice, beans, vegetables) and fried plantain. We are 15 minutes taxi journey away from the local town of Puerto Jimenez, which has everything you need - large supermarket, restaurants, cafes, beach bars, pharmacies and gift shops. In the immediate area, we have two lovely hotels from where you can have a drink, a meal, and use the pool (for a small fee) - though you may prefer to swim in the sea as it is right on your doorstep! There are many things to do around the area, and we are more than happy to help you plan activities to make the most of your stay on the Osa Peninsula. Activities include: kayaking in the mangroves, fishing, surfing, nature hikes into Corcovado National Park, boat tours for whale and dolphin spotting, snorkeling, chocolate tours, canopy tours, crocodile watching, and horseback riding. We have parking spaces for motorbikes and cars on site and we are only a 15 minute taxi away from the town of Puerto Jimenez. You may also store bicycles here, and it is around 30 minutes cycle ride into town. We offer a free airport shutte service for stays of a month or more. Please note that there is no access to a kitchen with this offer, but you can store a few items in the fridge of the main house.
