Heather Lodge is one of a collection of luxury holiday retreats, set in the heart of Norfolk only minutes from the centre of the fine historic City of Norwich. We are also only a short drive away from the Norfolk Broads and the beautiful North Norfolk and Suffolk coastline. Local pubs, supermarkets and all other amenities are just a stones throw away making Heather Lodge an idyllic luxury getaway for families, couples, friends, ramblers, golfers, fishermen or wedding guests visiting the area. The single story property is set in the grounds of Meadow Farm Cottages and fisheries. The lodge has its own private south facing rear garden with raised decking area offering stunning, unspoilt views of open fields an abundance of wildlife and the running stream which flows past the end of the garden. The property is accessed via double electric gates and large shared gravel driveway which in turn leads to Heather Lodge private parking area for three vehicles. The newly constructed dwelling is entered via the cosy open plan living area which comprises fitted kitchen with built in oven, hob with extractor over, free standing 'smeg' fridge with freezer compartment. The living area with comfy 2 & 3 seater sofas centres around a traditional wood burner and large flat screen tv which provides freesat and netflix. There is also a dining table with seating for 4 people in the open plan living area. The shower/wet room offers an electric shower, low level wc and hand wash basin with vanity unit below. The main bedroom has a double vintage metal bed and is furnished with antique pine bedside tables, chest of drawers and triple wardrobe. The adjacent twin room offers two single beds and pine bedside table. We offer a welcome pack inside the lodge with general information about the cottage along with recommended places to visit. We, the hosts live within the grounds and are therefore available at anytime should you need us. Heather Cottage is the perfect getaway and subject to availability, all guests will have free access to one of the well stocked fishing lakes which are located within short walking distance from the lodge. Guests are asked to book in advance due to high demand and should a match not be taking place on both lakes on the chosen day, we will advise guests on which lake is available to fish. The first feature/lesuire lake offers carp (up to 30lbs) along with F1's, Crucian, Grass, Tench, Roach, Rudd and Barbel.
