20 minute walk from Tring High Street with free off-street parking. Offering a large double bedroom in my home with a private bathroom next door to your room with shower and bath, access to the kitchen to make a coffee/tea, to store your cereal, to a sofa where you can relax and enjoy a glass of wine. You will have your own house key to let yourself in and out of the house during your stay. Fast broadband, super comfy bed, quiet location. See my other listing if travelling with friends/family. The house is modern and light and airy set in the Chiltern countryside. 10 mins from the house you can walk along the Grand Union Canal. This is the Wendover arm which is currently being restored. Do feel free to sit in the kitchen/diner downstairs or in the garden. The skies here whilst not completely dark provide for great sunsets and stars. Feel free to chat or retire to your room. Once you have a key you’re free to come and go. Just remember to leave the key before you leave. Come and visit Tring Park, Ashridge Estate, Tring Museum, nearby Waddesdon Manor, The Harry Potter Studios at Leavesden. Most of all enjoy your stay! Your room and bathroom/shower room. The downstairs kitchen/diner has a sofa and lamps and you can read or enjoy a glass of wine. The garden the drive at the front of the house to park your car I like to meet all my guests, ensure you are settled in. If I’m working I will be in my study. The Ridgeway passes close by. The train station is a 10 minute taxi ride. You can walk the route from the station, it’s approximately 3 miles (I haven’t done this yet). Close to the A41 Aston Clinton junction. The M25 is approximately 20/25 minutes away at Watford. If arriving by car leave your car on the drive at the front of the house. There is parking for 3 or 4 cars. If you have bikes 🚲 these can be stored in the lockable garage. If arriving by train at Tring Station, there are taxis and it’s approximately 10 minutes. If you walk into Tring town centre it’s about 20/25 minutes walk. The house is detached. I do have neighbours so please respect this.
