Surrounded by nature, next to our nature campsite, is our cabin. In style you will sleep in our charming 2 persons box bed or bunk. The interior is entirely made of wood. In front of the cabin is a picnic table. The cabin is personally designed by Jurjen. Using the wood materials feels this cabin very natural and fits perfectly into the area. The bunk creates a special atmosphere. We are all days of the week present on our site. In addition to the cabin we run a nature campsite and we have an outdoor company. Therefore we are almost always found in or around our house, which is also on the premises. The cabin is situated in the National Park Alde Feanen. It is the only place where you can spend the night in the middle of this beautiful park. At the heart of Friesland, in the triangle between Leeuwarden, Heerenveen and Drachten lies the nearly 2,300 hectare peat bog the Alde Feanen. A varied landscape of lakes, bog holes, reed, brushwood, thickets and swamps. The variety of landscapes ensures a wealth of plants and animals. So get there in the Alde Feanen approximately 450 species of plants and breed there are over 100 species of birds. When public transport is the most convenient, for example, from Utrecht Central (as we do) to travel to Heerenveen and Leeuwarden station. From Leeuwarden you can take public transport to Eernewoude where you amid the Alde Feanen is. Take the bus to Nijega and then change to the direction Opstapper Eernewoude. The cabin is situated in the National Park the Alde Feanen. From the ground you walk in the nature reserve directly. You can explore this beautiful area on foot, by bicycle or by canoe.
