The keys are provided by appointment. You can enjoy many extraordinairy views in the neighbourhood, make beautifull walks and visit many places. You can make a day-trip to Lisbon or Porto, Fatima, Nazare and ofcourse Coimbra. In less then half an hour you are on the beach from the Atlantic Ocean. But if you want to stay near the house, you can walk uphill to the village and visit the Roman church and meet some of the friendly inhabitants. You will also find a small shop that is open 7 days a week. There are regular trains to the university city Coimbra and the sea side town Figueira da Foz. There is lots of parking space in both cities.
