The cottage is situated on a ridge line adjacent to the North Downs Way surrounded by National Trust land. A haven for cyclists, walkers and nature lovers. Rural but within walking distance of Polesden Lacey NT, Denbies Wine Estate and the pretty Market Town of Dorking with its range of shops, supermarkets and we are particularly proud to have Michelin Star Dining , Sorrel Restaurant by Steve Drake as well as various other restaurants,cafes and pubs to enjoy. Dorking is the main town that serves all the quintessentially English Villages that surround it for you to explore. Farm shops, Gin distilleries and Artisan producers abound. Shere is a particular favourite being the location for the famous film The Holiday. All areas I am available by phone or text and nearby for any help or questions that may arise. My favourite Landmark is Leith Hill Tower which can be seen in the distance from the house and garden. It marks the highest point in the South East of England. Kingfisher Farm shop and Flower shop with their own watercress beds I use regularly for stocking up with the most amazing food and beautiful flowers. A trip to Albury Organic Vineyard, Silent Pool Gin and Mandira's Kitchen are a must to stock up with wonderful wine, gin and Indian food. Tours and cookery courses as well as events that run throughout the year. There isn't any public transport on Ranmore Common. Dorking Train station is 2 miles away 5 minute drive and has regular direct trains to London in under an hour Dorking Deepdene has direct trains to Gatwick and Guildford Gatwick Airport is 35-40 minute drive Heathrow Airport is 1hr 15-1hr20 minute drive Dorking Town is a 20 minute walk through the countryside or a 5 minute drive away.
