It is settled in the village of Moieciu de Sus, in the centre of Transylvania, inside the Carpathian mountain range, 180 kmts distance from Bucharest, 35 kmts distance from Brasov and 12 kmts distance from Bran. The guesthouse is a beautiful, wooden building, set by the river that crosses the village, and offers space for 12 guests in 6 double rooms with ensuite bathrooms. The wooden work in the house has been hancrafted by the owners, who have a long tradition in carpentry. The inside is organized as follows: on the ground floor there´s the entrance, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room. On the 1st floor there’s the living room and 2 double rooms and on the 2nd floor there are 4 double rooms. All 6 bedrooms have ensuite bathroom with shower, toiletries and hair dryer. The beds are matrimonial, with double cover. Wifi access is free of charge for the guests. The village of Moeciu de Sus is settled in the Brasov county, in a beautiful mountain area, at the edge of the Bucegi National Park. Its settlement, the touristic objectives that surround it, the raw nature and the respect of the locals for traditions, make it an ideal place for rural and ecological tourism. Due to the abundance of mountains, woods and hills, the village offers plenty of possibilities for hiking and trekking trips, daily walks, watching animals in the wild, practicing mountain biking. In the village there are rental centers for bicycles, the possibility of hiring guided tours at the surrounding touristic objectives or in the mountains. In winter, there are various slopes around, that offer skiing and snowboarding facilities: Cheile Gradistei (5km), Poarta (12km), Poiana Brasov (30km). The village can also serve as an excellent base for making day trips to Dracula´s Castle (Bran), Brasov, Rasnov, Sighisoara, Sinaia, Sibiu or Bucharest. The altitude of the village is 1100 m and it counts approximately 1000 inhabitants. Moeciu de Sus scatters over three mountain valleys and as from here there is no road crossing over the mountains, there are many hiking trails starting from various points in the village.
