This two bedroom cottage sleeps three people in the village of Trawsfynydd, in the heart of Snowdonia, perfectly placed for outdoor activities and watersports. This delightful mid-terraced cottage is set in the traditional Welsh village of Trawsfynydd in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. Offering very comfortable, traditional accommodation, this cosy cottage has a shower room, well-equipped kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room with multi-fuel stove in a stone inglenook fireplace, perfect for curling up in the evenings. Outside is a patio and gravelled area with furniture, which enjoys distant mountain views and has a BBQ provided for summer dining. Nearby Trawsfynydd Lake is very popular for fishing, and there is excellent walking, cycling and bird-watching in the vicinity. Amenities: Electric radiators with multi-fuel stove. Gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, flat screen TV, DVD, stereo/CD, WiFi. Electricity, gas and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair available. Ample off road parking spaces approx 30 metres from cottage. Enclosed rear patio and gravelled area with garden furniture, BBQ and distant mountain views. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 20 yards. Please note: the village pub in Trawsfynydd is once again open, operating under current Covid19 rules. Food is available to eat-in or takeaway. Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South. Town: In the very heart of the stunning Snowdonia National Park lies the village of Trawsfynydd. This traditional Welsh village is surrounded by the Rhinog, Moelwyn and Arenig mountains, and offers visitors amenities including a pub, shops and the opportunity to enjoy excellent outdoor activities including walking, fishing, mountain biking, golf and watersports. Trawsfynydd is within easy travelling distance of lovely beaches such as the sands at Barmouth, Harlech and Black Rock Sands. For more amenities Dolgellau and Porthmadog are a short drive. Also worth visiting in the area are the many castles, narrow gauge railways, slate and copper mines and the famous Portmeirion Italianate village.
