The cottage is in a semi-rural setting. There is a garden with table and chairs for sitting outside, and a BBQ to enjoy summer days. The cottage has everything to ensure your stay is comfortable. Nearby there is a choice of quaint country pubs and the bars and restaurants of Sevenoaks are a short drive. There are lots of wonderful nearby country walks. Hever Castle, Chartwell House (Winston Churchill), & Down House (Charles Darwin) are just some of the attractions within a short drive. Comfortable & cozy 17th century Listed Cottage, with exposed beams throughout. Kitchen fully equipped but no dishwasher. The Living room has two settees, a table and chairs and a log burner. central heated throughout. The main bedroom has a King-size bed, with SIMBA mattress. The 3rd floor has a single bed. As the house is 300 years old, some floors are uneven, and low ceiling throughout, it's part of the charm of the cottage). There is a large garden with a BBQ and table and chairs. Guests have their own access at the front of the cottage (our access is at the back of the property). There is parking for one vehicle on the driveway at the front, please park on the right side as look at the cottage. no parking nearby. As we live on site we are more than happy to help with any questions or information that is required. Local train station offers easy access into central London (45 mins), (Gatwick 40 mins). Local convenient shops are only a 10-minute walk away.Nearby there is an excellent choice of quaint country pubs and the trendy bars and restaurants of Sevenoaks are only a short drive away. There are lots of wonderful country walks. Local train station within walking distance (Kemsing). Fast trains to Victoria London (45 mins). As we live on site we would ask our guests to be respectful to keep noise down after 11 pm.
