Our Airbnb is a spacious purpose built holiday home. We hope you enjoy the views over the surrounding farmland from inside the property and from the private patio area. If the weather allows you can soak up the sun from our high vantage point and enjoy watching the sun set into the distance. There is ample parking on our gated driveway and we are conveniently located for easy motorway access. Our property has a spacious living area with a large/comfy corner sofa and a smart flat screen TV (Netflix etc included) plus a generous sized kitchen with a range cooker, fridge freezer and a washing machine. It has gas central heating plus a realistic artificial log burner for you to enjoy on those chillier evenings . The bedroom has fitted wardrobes and a king size bed which even has 2 different levels of spring support providing a wonderful place to rest. We offer you a peaceful and relaxing place to stay and simply ask that you treat our place with respect. We invite you to enjoy our home from home and your own section of our garden, but please only come if you are looking for somewhere to relax in privacy. We only accept couples or guests staying alone. This is definitely not a party pad or somewhere to mistreat. You have access to the whole guest holiday home, it has it's own private patio terrace which is accessed from our own garden. Once you are inside you have the place to yourself and we will not come into contact unless you need us to assist you. Please note our Covid-19 secure policy, guests will need to sign in leaving address and contact details. We insist that guests never attend if experiencing symptons. Our property is in a semi rural location. The immediate surrounding area is mainly beautiful open farmland but we are still just less than 1 mile from civilization. Hempstead is the nearest village offering a co op convenience store with a post office, along with a hairdressers, an Indian Restaurant and a local Pub. While Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre has a Sainsbury's supermarket and selection of top brand shops as well as a food complex with favourites such as Nando's and Bella Italia to name but two. Historic Dickensian Rochester with its ancient Castle and famous Cathedral are just a short car journey away. The county town of Maidstone is also just 15 minutes away by car, here you will find a huge variety of shops, pubs, restaurants and places of interest including the Archbishops Palace which sits alongside the River Medway. Canterbury with it's amazing Cathedral and winding labyrinth of streets is a must visit. Kent is awash with Historical places of interest and is the gateway to London from Europe. Central London is just 30/40 mins away by road or rail and the Kent coast is a similar distance. There is ample opportunity for outdoor activities and even skiing and tobogganing at the near by dry ski slope. Capstone Valley is well known as a local beauty spot with miles of walking and cycling trails leading from right outside the front door. Leeds Castle is just one of our local attractions found within a short drive and the location is the ideal stop off for anyone traveling to or from Europe via Dover. There is a selection of local pubs/restaurants within easy reach, The Kings Head in beautiful Boxley Village, with its fantastic garden and open fireplace is a favourite of ours. Transportation is even provided by prior arrangement if you are dining there. Guests can take advantage of superb motorway links with both the M2 and M20 being within very easy reach. London is also easily accessible via road or rail. We are happy to collect from or drop our guests at the nearest station (Chatham) and from there you can access the high speed service into St Pancras/Kings Cross in around half an hour. Buses are available from Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre and again we can organise a free pick up or collection from here by prior arrangement. Guests traveling to or from Europe can utilise the Channel Tunnel departing from Folkestone or the regular ferry services operating from Dover connecting with Calais or Dunkerque. Our home is semi detached and our holiday property is within the boundries of our garden. We simply ask that our guests respect this fact. Please no loud music or excesive noise, in particular whilst enjoying the outdoor space. Guests in breach of this will be asked to leave without a refund. Thank you.
