Located on the Thorogood family’s asparagus farm, New Moor farmhouse offers its guests an escape to the country where up to 12 guests can enjoy the benefits of log burning stoves, individually designed bedrooms, spacious living areas and peaceful gardens. The house is situated only an hour from London by train and 30 minutes from the main road networks. A short walk away is the village of Southminster with local shops, take aways, train station and brewery. The ground floor boasts a traditional farm kitchen with an Aga as its main focal point. Nestled off the main entry hall, the snug with its log burning stove and country inspired decor offers an excellent spot for some quiet time or a chance for the younger members of your party to enjoy some of their own space. A downstairs W/C sits directly off of the snug. The final social space comes in the form of the main sitting room. This large room is also home to a log burning stove and beautiful views over the garden with ample seating for your whole party. Tucked in the corner, is the bar; perfect for celebrating big occasions or just enjoying a welcomed drink after a busy day exploring the local area.
