You'll be close to white water rafting, rock climbing and skiing in winter, but once you settle into this 80-acre estate, you won't want to leave. Maple Fork Lodge is a wonderfully secluded property - well off the road. With eighty acres to explore and mountaintop views that will take your breath away - it's the perfect place for relaxing with family and friends. The decor isn't stuffy and formal - but designed to make large groups seem cozy and intimate. *Please note that this lodge, as any true lodge, has a number of large taxidermy animals. Within a short drive of dozens of restaurants, movie theaters and shopping, as well as activities like mini-golf, hiking the New River Gorge, and an indoor climbing wall. The lodge comes fully stocked with sheets, towels, kitchen utensils, coffee makers, crock pot and instat pot, toilet paper, etcetera. Just bring yourselves! This finely-appointed, 5600-square-foot log cabin is perfect for your family reunion, rafting trip, church or corporate retreat. There is a caretaker who lives next door to the property who can fix just about any issue you might encounter during your stay. It's a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, but you can't see much of it from the lodge, because it's set back 500 yards off the road. Great hiking, fishing and swimming in the ponds, and exploring the mountains are all yours without leaving the property!
